Niche Blueprint 2.0, the second version of the popular internet marketing course was originally priced at $297 but can now be found for as low as $97.

Twenty four videos and 23 manuals provide detailed information about creating a niche site built around a product that is dropshipped by a distributor. A “Discover Niches” tool and SEO optimized website templates, as well as a shopping cart script round out this seemingly enormous amount of information.

Is it worth it, and even more importantly, is Niche Blueprint 2.0 providing new information?

Upon closer examination, its evident that the modules could simply stand as a single manual or two, rather than 23. Most of the module pdf’s are around ten pages of information in large font, stretching a single page into ten. The information itself, is presented in a way that is easy to understand and the videos supplement the information nicely.

Unfortunately, none of the information is unique and much like many of these internet marketing courses, this is simply a regurgitation of forum posts. In short, you could find this information free with a little hunting.

The tools included in Niche Blueprint 2.0 aren’t unique either. The “Discover Niches” tool is moderately useful, but if you’re committed to making a go at niche sites, Micro Niche Finder is far better and far easier to use. For the price of Niche Blueprint, you could buy MNF and have just as much success finding undiscovered niches.

The shopping cart script in Niche Blueprint, used in conjunction with the store template, are basic but good for people who are unfamiliar with templates and scripts.

Of course, you could also do a little research to find free templates and shopping cart scripts or even find a free ecommerce WordPress site that will work just as well. Users of the scripts have reported some bug issues that, according to the creators, have since been fixed with a patch and an additional FAQ manual.

Bottom line, Niche Blueprint could have been a single manual, videos and information about finding dropshippers, uncovering niches, and sources for free ecommerce sites for far less than the original $297 price tag.

The authors also refer to a “secret” source of free traffic in their ad which turns out to be building backlinks in forums, blogs and Web 2.0 sites. Nothing you haven’t heard before and nothing you couldn’t have found for free on a decent internet marketing forum.
